InSinkErator at Grand Designs

For the seventh year running, the consumer home show Grand Designs Live is returning to London and InSinkErator will be hosting a stand at this prestigious event.

Running from the 30th April through to 8th May 2011, the show is presented by Kevin McCloud who also fronts the Channel 4 Grand Designs TV series.

With over 500 exhibitors, Grand Designs is the ultimate consumer home event for anyone looking to improve or redesign, and InSinkErator believes it is a vital event in their calendar.

InSinkErator has been a part of the show for three years and sees it as the perfect opportunity to speak directly to existing and potential consumers, and to offer expert advice.

With the release of a brand new Hot Water Tap later this year – the HC-3300 model – the Grand Designs Live show is the ideal platform to create some anticipation in the marketplace, and get people talking about the new product launch. The tap offers a more modern design, created to sit perfectly in a wide variety of kitchens.

InSinkErator adverts have been running on the More4 digital TV channel throughout March and April, following phenomenal success with their 2010 campaign with an uplift in sales of 29% during the previous advertising period last year.

In addition, there has recently been some positive news for InSinkErator, with the Chartered Institution of Waste and Environmental Management (CIWEM) issuing a Policy Position Statement supporting the use of Food Waste Disposers in the management of food waste from domestic kitchens.

Ashley Munden, Sales and Marketing Director for leading food waste disposal manufacturer, InSinkErator said, “We love taking part in Grand Designs Live and think it is a key way of meeting our target audience.

“We’d like to make more householders aware of how our products can simplify their lives, offering greater convenience and hygiene in the kitchen.

Consumers at the event have home improvement in mind and, of course, any kitchen would benefit from our products!"
