How does a disposer work?

Simply wash food waste into the food waste disposer, and turn on the cold tap. At the touch of a button, food waste is then ground into fine particles which flush away in the flow of water. They’re powerful enough to grind almost all types of food waste.

A food waste disposer never needs emptying, and it’s easy to keep clean and smelling fresh: simply slice up and dispose of a lemon!

How long does it take to grind food waste?

Feed the food waste in gradually until it’s all been ground into small particles (you’ll hear the sound of the appliance changing when it’s done). Then simply flush the system through with cold water – for about 15 seconds – and switch off.
